About this species

The Fire-Tailed Sunbird is a stunning high-altitude sunbird of the Himalayas — males with crimson plumage, yellow rump, and an extraordinarily long, flame-red tail. Found in rhododendron and oak forests above 2,500 metres. Chopta Valley in Uttarakhand and Singalila in West Bengal are excellent locations. Spot Fire-Tailed Sunbirds in the Himalayas.
