About this species

The White-Bellied Blue Flycatcher is a gem of the Western Ghats — a stunning blue-and-white bird endemic to the shola forests of South India. Males are deep cobalt blue with white underparts. Found only in the dense shola forest patches above 1,000 metres — Anamalai, Munnar forests, and Silent Valley are prime locations.
